Graduating in Applied Physics he launched a career in Advertising in the UK, where he was trained in both the creative and analytic aspects of the business. From there he took his career ‘on the road’ first working in the Gulf States in publishing before crossing back to his first love – technology – when he joined British Telecom in Bahrain, eventually becoming Middle East Sales & Marketing manager, promoting a vast range of products and services and, in addition, creating unique product and service offerings to meet local demand.

Arriving in Australia in 1991, he worked in data communications sales just as the Internet was coming into being – and was responsible for a significant number of ‘firsts’. He then worked on a number of large-scale strategic projects for companies such as Motorola, Intergraph and Wang to position new technologies such as IPTel, Mobile Data and ¬†Integrated Computer Dispatch. Whilst at Wang he also designed, and sold to Telstra, the Argent Terminal Adapter, a CPE for financial transactions which sold over 40,000 units.¬†

Malcolm also works as a strategy consultant to a number of organisations, including AMP and NAB. He comes to A3DH with a strong vision for the future – and the skills necessary to execute on that vision.
