Experienced AV retailer Doug Isaac endorses Acoustic3D Emergence 2.1

Experienced AV retailer Doug Isaac says the speakers are a revelation. “From the first notes, the effect is extraordinary. All the players are there, their locations are locked-in, even when I get up and walk around the room. The music fills the room in a way that would not disgrace speakers costing $10K or more!”

The revolutionary Emergence 2.1 Acoustic Hologram System brings the world of the audiophile to everyday consumers. World renowned audiophile critic Edgar Kramer had this to say after a demonstration of the Emergence 2.1 :

“It looks great… and it’s small… I’m actually very impressed with Acoustic3D in general, not only because it does what it describes with appropriate recordings, but also because tonally it compares with any speaker system”. Edgar Kramer,6Moons.com (6moons audio online magazine) 2011OCT13.

Pilot manufacture in Australia

At a time when Australian manufacturers are closing down, one Australian inventor wants to open a factory and start the pilot manufacture of his revolutionary 3D audio speakers on Australian soil.

“If we can support Australian manufacturing I’ll be very happy,” says Acoustic3D’s CEO Joe Hayes.

Using prime number mathematics and fractal engineering Hayes discovered how to generate acoustic holograms and has created the world’s first range of audio speakers to produce genuine 3D sound.

Experienced AV retailer Doug Isaac says the speakers are a revelation. “From the first notes, the effect is extraordinary. All the players are there, their locations are locked-in, even when I get up and walk around the room. The music fills the room in a way that would not disgrace speakers costing $10K or more!”

After  20 years of scientific breakthroughs and self-funded research Hayes received a $248,993 Commercialisation Australia grant last year to develop his audio products for the telepresence and consumer markets.

Commercialisation Australia CEO Doron Ben-Meir said Acoustic3D was making significant progress.

“We help Australian companies take their inventions and successfully commercialise them. This Brisbane company is on the right path with an early, positive reaction from the market.”

Commercialisation Australia is a Federal Government program that offers grants and expertise to Australian companies to build businesses from their new products and inventions.

Last week Acoustic 3D listed on the capital raising platform Australian Small Scale Offerings Board (www. assob.com.au/A3H) and the first tranche of shares is fully subscribed.

Chairman of the Acoustic3D Board and ex-VP of Phillips Lighting Rick Hooper says “Products and technology like Acoustic3D’s only come around every 5 years or so. They shift markets and consumer behaviour remarkably in short periods of time, think ipod and Google. After many years working with iconic names in industry it is a privilege for me to be associated with the team at Acoustic3D, helping deliver this exciting technology to the world.”

The audio hologram speakers have applications in video conferencing, 3D TV, cinema, band PAs, public address systems, outdoor broadcast situations like airports and train stations, audiophile and general consumer markets.

“Our audio hologram revolutionises the listening space by removing distortion and echoes, so there are no ‘sweet’ and ‘sour’ listening spots – the entire space sounds ‘sweet’,” says Hayes.

“The result is pure and accurate reproduction of the original sound through the entire listening space – whether that’s a company teleconference boardroom or discerning listener’s lounge room. This is a disruptive technology – industry experts say our product is the first they’ve heard that will cause speaker owners to replace existing speakers.”

Acoustic3D plans to enter the fast moving consumer goods market with a soft launch of the Emergence 2.1 speakers into selected retail outlets in Australia in 2012 followed by a volume launch into the North American market in late 2012.

The consumer audio market in North America represents a market greater than 8 million audio speaker sets per year with an average price of US$750 or a total value in excess of US$6 billion. Globally the market exceeds US$20 billion.

The fractal engineering technology has many other applications that are yet to be fully developed.

In addition to revolutionising audio technology, Acoustic3D is poised to be an international innovator in the application of fractal engineering technology in solving some of the world’s technical challenges on the road to sustainability and energy efficiency.

Acoustic3D is preparing for a public listing in the future.
